Past building è gate(wm) é up field, hedge on right to gate.ë through wood to gate. é fence on left aiming for st. near junction of fence/wall, é fence on left under pylons to st. é to white gate to barn conversions and rd.(Eskrigg End) è pass house on left, to static caravan, ç through gate. Up field slightly left to right-hand of 2 gates ì up to ladder st. é hedge on right to gate/sp (Ewebank) ç on farm tr. over cattle grid, in 25yds as tr. goes left, strike off é to gate between 2 trees ç around edge of field, (hedge on left) to broken gate/stump st., ì for approx 150yds to wall corner. ì Due N. to descend to gate/sp. at rd. é 100yds to T junction, è uphill for ½ mile to bridleway sign at gate on left. é wall on left, follow tr. through 2 fields to 2nd gate. ì up hill to fence on ridge, ç to gate in wall/fence corner é wall on right through gateless opening to gate. é to next gate directly in front of you, DO NOT USE, go round fence and broken wall left of this gate, at next gate é to wall corner gate on right. ç wall now on left to gate onto tr.é wall on right, soon quarry on left, to gate, follow tr. around edge of quarry to gate/rd. ç on rd to X main rd (Caution), G.R. 586 930
ç 10yds on verge to gate/sp é fence on left, (wind farm ahead on right), faint tr.(rough ground) when fence veers left, é to small building, X gravel tr. Follow trod near wall (on left) to gate in cross wall. Follow faint fp ì up hill for 120yds to post & arrow, ç still faint fp to pass small cairn to post, tr. now curves to right (depression on left) descending to lone post. ç rubble bridge over beck to ascend green tr, to b/way post, then ë still on tr. to eventually descend on good tr.down to rd. ç ¼ mile to Myers farm.ç into farmyard, é between buildings, follow farm tr. when tr. stops at wall/gate. é 100yds to stile/wm in left wall è wall now on right to gap st./wm. in wall corner. é to gate, into long narrow field through 2 gates into graveled area (Birks Fm) é past houses to gate opposite, é on enclosed tr. to descend to 2nd gate. é on tr. ignore tr. which rises right, as wall bears away left go é on tr. past trees. As tr. fades, (marshy ground down on left), é to gate in wall. é 250yds (initially trackless) at rising tr.(do not use) bear ë around marshy ground up to st/sp. é for ¾ mile past Greenbank fm. to Millrigg fm, è into first enclosure at farm (wm on gatepost), é 15yds to gate. ì over beck to bridge with railings ç to st. é wall on right to wall st.
