START BIGGIN VILLAGE HALL GR 155592

Turn L on road outside village hall Car park. Follow road to T-junction. (Liffs Rd) Turn left and after 230yds turn right at B.W. Descend to junction of dales and turn left into [1] BIGGIN DALED45588)

Ahead on FP for 1 1/4 mls to meet the River Dove. (142569) Turn right into [2] WOLFSCOTE DALE, Follow riverside FP over four ST (approx. 1ml) Cross meadow and then cross FB [3] BERESFORD DALE. Turn R to further FB and in 350yds reach open fields. Continue ahead following marker posts to reach RD. (128603) Turn right into HARITNGTON CP1

Bear R round Village Square. Turn L into road immediately before church. After half-ml turn L over stile at FP (130612) immediately after farm. (ignore first FP sign on L). Ahead over 4 stiles following waymark to meet track. Thro gate and as TK turns L thro gate ahead follow waymark TR along hillside. After two stiles bear R and head for trees (340^° ) (125630)

Keeping trees and derelict building (hidden in trees) on R head for corner of wall. Ahead to ST with wall on R descend to reach valley bottom. (125634)

Turn R over ST (SP Parsley Hay). Ahead through 3 ST, then bear L over side of hill (85^°) and descend to road (137632) cross ST to road (137632) Cross road over ST into Vincent House farm and follow TR through gateway. Keep wall on L and straight on to St where main farm track turns R. Over further 2 ST to meet road at Darley Farm.

Turn right on road then almost immediately L through farm and through the left of two gates. Ahead keeping wall on R to meet High Peak Trail.

Turn L on High Peak Trail and in approx. 2mls pass car park and picnic area. Under bridge and in 200 yds take FP on R. follow waymark through gap in wall to ST. Ahead (5^° ) over two ST to meet RD at Bull I' th' Thorn Hotel.

Turn R and immediately left on to TK (Hutmoor Butts Track) Continue ahead for 1 mile to track junction. Turn R and where track turns R turn L over ST continue ahead on FP over 8 stiles to reach MONYASH. At road turn right. Take first left to reach MONYASH VILLAGE HALL IN 300 YDS CHECKPOINT TWO

Continue on road in same direction for approx. 1/4 ml. Turn R through Kissing GATE onto FP (SP Lathkill dale). In 300 yds ahead through further gate.

Continue ahead over stile then through gate. Ahead through disused quarry and into [4] LATHKILL DALE. Continue ahead for a further 21/2mls to reach road at Conksbury Bridge. (212656)

Turn R on road and cross bridge. In 150 yds take FP on L Ahead over 2 stiles to reach farm road, cross to ST opp. and continue over a further 7 stiles to reach road at ALPORT

Cross to white gate opposite. Ahead on TK through further gate and follow path on ;L of river. Through kissing gate and ahead on tarmac TK to RD

Cross RD and through gate on to path on R of river. [5] BRADFORD DALE .

After 500 yds through ST and cross FB to other riverbank. Continue for 3/4 ml upstream keeping to main track as it swings R follow up hill to reach (198632) Middleton village CHECKPOINT THREE.

Retrace steps for 400 yds to river turn R on FP. Cross footbridge, climb steps. Turn R and descend to cross stream by large stone slabs. Continue ahead over 5 stiles to reach track. Cross ST opposite and ahead with stream on L. After 200 yds cross ST on L.

Turn R to climb over hill keeping fence on R to ST then bear R to descend to road. (Weaddow Lane)

L on road and where road turns sharp L, ahead on track. Through gate to meet wider TK. Continue ahead and after passing through further gate bear R then L keeping wall on L continue to top of hill. [6] LONG DALE. Through gate and turn R. (189605) follow crest of hill to eventually descend to gate.

Turn L and then R at end of wood to reach gate. Ahead for 300 yds then bear L to join green lane. Follow lane to reach road. (175611)

L on road, under bridge and past factory (Friden), to T-junction. Turn R for 200yds then L at triangle to join main road. (A515). Turn L and in 150yds join FP on R (just past Newhaven Hotel) (220^°)

Cross field diagonally to stile in corner (220^°), over stile and cross field to stile in middle of far right-hand wall (240°). Continue to further stile, cross over the Tissington Trail and head for ST in L corner of field. (280^°) through stile and cross field diagonally to further stile.
